Delacey’s smokey vocals, clever lyrics, innate gift for melody and less-is-more approach to production sets a timeless mood and atmosphere from the first note. The LA-based artist/songwriter started in music at age seven, pulling inspiration from the massive vinyl collection her dad handed down to her with classic LPs from the likes of Billie Holiday, The Beatles, Emmylou Harris, Led Zeppelin, Dusty Springfield and Fleetwood Mac. Her journey began as a songwriter and would eventually lead her into studios with some of pop's biggest artists. She has collaborated with Justin Bieber, Gracie Abrams, Chainsmokers, Dove Cameron, Tate McRae, Renee’ Rapp, Gayle as well as Halsey on the #1 hit “Without Me” (now certified Diamond), and countless others. Delacey stepped out center stage with her debut album, Black Coffee, a beautiful mess of emotions set within soulful songs that telegraphed a toughness and vulnerability all at once. With standout tracks “Subway Song” and “My Man” the album established Delacey as a critically acclaimed artist on the rise. Delacey’s second offering The Girl Has A Dream is a beautiful, raw and emotive album with sharp penned songs like “Man On The Moon”, “Things I’d Save In A Fire” and “Cue”. The album is a stunning display of moody song craft and realness in it’s purest form from the first note.

Never one to stand still for too long, Delacey has kept creating and has just began to release music from a collaborative EP project that she made with her musician/songwriter husband, Valley Boy on the lead up to their wedding called Honeymooners. With the backdrops of France and Italy inspiring them, they made music with an underlying theme of love. They have released singles, “Drive Baby”, “God Is A Giver”, “Someone’s Gotta Be The Last” and “Same Song Forever” over the last few months. Honeymooners music breathes day to day romance through expert story telling and intimate vocals set to melodic, indie-pop. More Honeymooners music and a new Delacey project is on the horizon for 2024.
