Coming off the heels of the March 5th “STRANGE” single release, Zack Arnett, the Northern California-bred artist/musician/producer/writer and founder of the eclectic, alternative project SUR brings you the accompanying video release today. The visual was directed by longtime SUR creative collaborator, Meeno was shot at various iconic LA stops and brings to life all those oddly, beautiful moments one finds in between the daily hustle and bustle. “The video for strange came together much like the song…less thought and more feeling, we let the moments guide us and trusted that the flow state would find its way to the finish line. Working with “mad Meeno” is fluid and we both speak the same language in this world. The art piece is now complete. Hope it makes you feel something”, Zack says about the new visual. Director Meeno adds, “making visuals for SUR’s music has been an integral part of what I’ve done on my “Covid vacation”. Just two, mad and creative minds, skipping out on the rest of the world - and what would be a normal filmmaking crew - in order to get our visions solidified in the time of the Pox. Zack’s approach to complete authorship of his music falls right in line with my total embrace of filmmaking. Hand in glove and that’s how our STRANGE magic is born”. Never one to be pigeonholed into a genre, Arnett spent much of 2020 in the studio writing and producing the forthcoming summer album project entitled LOST DAYZ. Additional music from the album will be released over the next few months so in the meantime celebrate your inner weirdo with “STRANGE”.
